Boynton Beach Neighborhoods

Four Boynton Beach Neighborhoods: Housing, Amenities and Sales Data

Boynton Beach neighborhoods differ a lot in what was built, how they are governed and what homes have sold for. Here is a look at four of them using published sales data and community descriptions, limited to the homes and the land rather than the people.

Boynton Beach covers a wide range of housing, from guard-gated single-family communities in the west to older neighborhoods on larger lots and townhome-and-condo districts near Congress Avenue. This is a look at four of them using published sales data and community descriptions. It is limited to the physical side, what was built, how it is governed and what homes have sold for, and does not describe the people who live in any of them. Sales figures are as published in 2026 by the sources cited and change month to month.

Canyon Trails

Canyon Trails is a guard-gated community of about 579 single-family homes in west Boynton Beach, built by GL Homes (Momentum Realty). A 2026 market summary reported a median sale price of about $783,000 (around $335 per square foot), an average of 35 days on market and about 2.4 months of supply (Momentum Realty).

Verify: HOA fees and what they cover, and whether the community is part of a larger master association.

Nautica

Nautica is a gated neighborhood in Boynton Beach with a community pool and tennis courts (Nextdoor).

Verify: HOA dues, the age of homes and roofs, and the flood zone for the specific lot.

Renaissance Commons

Renaissance Commons is a mixed-use district near Congress Avenue with townhomes and condominiums within walking distance of retail and dining (Gaffry Homes). Walk Score rated it 66 in 2026, the highest walkability score it reported among Boynton Beach neighborhoods (Walk Score; Gaffry Homes).

Verify: condominium or HOA financials, reserves, milestone inspection status for condominium buildings, leasing rules and parking.

Boynton Hills

Boynton Hills has larger lots and, in many sections, no mandatory HOA, which can matter if you want to park a boat or RV at home (Gaffry Homes). A 2026 market summary reported a median sale price of about $385,000 (around $276 per square foot), an average of 24 days on market and about 4.0 months of supply (Momentum Realty).

Verify: without an HOA, city code governs parking, fencing and outbuildings; check Boynton Beach’s code for the specific use you have in mind. Confirm the age of the roof and plumbing.

New master-planned communities

Westlake and Avenir, two large master-planned communities elsewhere in Palm Beach County, are covered in my new construction guide.

Before you make an offer anywhere

  • Look at recent closed sales on the same street or in the same section, not a neighborhood-wide median.
  • Read the HOA or condominium documents, or confirm in writing that there is no association.
  • Check the flood zone on FEMA’s Flood Map Service Center and get an insurance quote during your inspection period.
  • Confirm school assignment with the School District of Palm Beach County’s boundary locator for the specific address.
  • Drive the area at the times you would actually be coming and going.

Every one of these numbers is a national average. What matters is what is happening on your street, in your price band, this month — and that is a conversation, not a forecast.
